Reasons Why I’m Still Single
When I leave the house, I like to leave on music or a movie for Karl. Lately, the movie of choice has been Cameron Crowe’s Vanilla Sky. My hope is that he’ll be so confused by the end of the movie, all of his weird abandonment issues will be replaced with existential angst at having just watched a Tom Cruise movie… I can’t say for sure, but I think it’s working.

Don’t be mean to Karl, leave him with Top Gun and you’ll come home and he’ll have the remote and is replaying the volleyball scene over and over again.
